Описание

In the first of the series, I discussed my goals and purchased a wind turbine for use on a trailer. Part two is about how I actually installed one onto my A-Frame Camper.

Parts List (approximate - will vary as per trailer):
Two adjustable steel broom handles
10" mending plate (cut in half to hold brackets to post)
6" mending plate (bent in U-shape for eyebolt bracket)
9 1/4" angle bracket
Two 2 1/4" muffler clamps
1 1/4" x 6" pipe nipple (for flange adapter)
1 1/4" x 10" pipe nipple (for pole base)
1 1/2" x 2" pipe nipple (for flange adapter)
1 1/4" floor flange (pole base)
1 1/2" floor flange (for flange adapter)
Two 4" U-bolts w/ plate and nuts
10" strap hinge
1 1/2" to 1 1/4" reducing pipe coupler (for flange adapter)
5" eye bolt (to attach left pole bracket)
3" corner bracket (to attach right pole bracket)
1/2" EMT set screw connector
10' x 1 3/8" chain-link fence rail (pole)
Four 3-wire Pigtail connectors (2 male, 2 female)
20' 14-3 power cable
Assorted wire connectors
Assorted Bolts, nuts, washers and screws

How I get around:
Trailer: 2004 Aliner with around 80,000 miles of hard use. Includes propane stove, hot shower, toilet, refrigerator, 200W solar, three 12V batteries (one AGM, one deep cycle, one lithium-ion)
Tow Vehicle: 2007 Jeep Liberty, 6 cyl 3.7L gas engine, 4WD, over 238,000 km
